14 Day Amazon Dieta
What is a dieta?
A dieta is a sacred pilgrimage, a rite of passage, and a deep journey of communion with a specific master plant spirit. When approached with respect, integrity, commitment, and devotion, it has the potential to catalyze profound transformation in your life.
This special time invites you to awaken greater levels of your light and power, while also tending to and healing inner wounds that are ready to return to wholeness. A dieta is both an embodiment of your inner light and a time to intimately confront your deeper shadows.
Each master plant has it’s own personality and set of powers for phsyical, emotional & spiritual healing. Sitting a dieta allows you to create a life long relationship with the plant, the deeper you devote the more blessings the plants have for you.
If you’ve been feeling the call to certain plant or just a dieta in the amazon in general, it’s very likely your plant is calling you in.
Ayahuasca
You will also be working with Ayahasuca, a native, psychoactive medicine to the Amazon - legal in Peru. She is a fierce feminine spirit here to help facilitate the healing your master plant is here to bring you.
Working with Ayahausca can bring about accelerated healing. Clearing away deep limited beliefs, old patterns & blocks created from lifetimes, stored fear, karmic chords, emotional stress, physical impurities & deep stored trauma from lifetimes. She can help reclaim lost parts of your soul and open your eyes to see the truth of life, returning you to a state of harmony with your soul and the divine within.
She is a mirror to the voice of your soul here to awaken deep personal transformation & profound connection to the divine.
The Brew:
The ayahausca brew is comprised of two plants: Banisteriopsis caapi (Ayhausca vine) and Psychotria viridis (chacruna leaves). No additional plants are used in the brew which makes the medicine clean & simple. The Chacruna is an essential part of the brew for it contains the DMT that is activated through the MAO inhibitor in the vine. Making Ayahasuca & Chacruna the perfect team to bring spiritual clarity, awaken emotional insight, ancestral memory, dream work, visual processing & deep inner transformation.

Meet your Guides
Fransico - Master Shaman
Francisco has been a medicine man for over 40 years, carrying indigenous roots from both the Incan and Shipibo lineages of Peru. His journey began in his homeland of Cajamarca, where he learned the pre-Incan tradition of serving Huachuma medicine from his grandfather. After serving Huachuma for decades, he received the call to move to the Amazon jungle to reconnect with his Shipibo lineage. There, he was introduced to Ayahuasca and the intelligence of the dietas, which deepened his path as a healer.
Over the years, Francisco worked as a shaman at five different Ayahuasca centers in Iquitos before creating his own center, Divina Abuela Ayahuasca. He believes Ayahuasca is the medicine of the future—here to guide humanity back to the remembrance of who we truly are: powerful and sovereign beings.
Francisco is a true man of God. His greatest prayer is that as many people as possible have the opportunity to do this healing work. His healing abilities are extraordinary, and he serves as a vessel for the plants to clear away dark energetic cords, negative spirits, harmful thoughts, and, when needed, more extreme blockages such as entity attachments or curses.
When you sit with him, you can feel the depth of his Shipibo, Incan, and Christian influences woven into the space. He holds a safe, loving, and deeply powerful container for the plants to do their work.
Sydney - Facilitator & Apprentice
In 2019, I reached a breaking point—burnt out from the relentless hustle of being an actress and comedian in Chicago. Juggling multiple jobs, endless auditions, and big projects, I found myself thinking, “There has to be more than this.” That realization led me to the Amazon of Peru, where I entered dieta with Shipibo maestros, working with Ayahuasca. Little did I know, this would become the catalyst for the most expansive and liberating era of my life.
When I returned from the jungle, I was transformed—with an undeniable knowing that my true purpose was to live, grow, and heal in deep connection with Mother Earth. I took the greatest leap of my life: quitting my jobs, leaving my agency and podcast, selling all my belongings, ending my relationship, and moving to a new country with no plan, only trust.
Today, I reside in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where I have undergone my own deep rebirth. Since taking this leap, my path has been one of devotion—learning, training, and immersing in the sacred medicines of the Earth, serving as a bridge to hold safe and sacred space for people to heal and grow with the plants.
I have received extensive training in Shamanic Reiki, Sacred Feminine Alchemy within the lineage of the Rose, Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitation, Akashic Records, and Plant Medicine Integration. Over the past six years, I have been both receiving and supporting plant medicine ceremonies.
I am currently apprenticing with Francisco, with whom I facilitate dietas. Through him, I am learning the art of shamanism and how to serve Huachuma and Ayahuasca medicine from his Incan and Shipibo roots. I also carry trauma-informed integration training from Aya Healing Retreats.
My deepest priority is to hold a space where all aspects of you are welcome. I vow with all that I am that you will be divinely held and cared for as you awaken to the remembrance of who you truly are.

Dieta Protocol:
The dieta protocol is strict, and it is imperative that you follow it fully—before, during, and after your dieta. This discipline is both a sacrifice and a sacred contract with the plant. The deeper your devotion, the more the plant honors your commitment, offering blessings and transformative healing in your life.
The purpose of this protocol is to ensure that your body becomes a clean vessel, prepared to merge with the intelligence and wisdom of the plant.
By following the dieta, you open the door to a lifelong allyship with the plant—a master spirit who will walk beside you, guiding you the path toward your prayers. Disrespecting this contract can create inner conflict with the plant and may hinder—or even reverse—the healing work that has unfolded.
IMPORTANT: If you are unable to adhere to this contract, this experience is not for you.

Testimonials:
Divina Abuela is the Next Generation of Awakening Work. Separating itself from the common Aya center model of short intensive immersion in the medicine. Instead, opting for the more traditional pathway of Master Plant dietas and seclusion in nature enveloped by the intense pure vibration of the Jungle. Instead of a passive approach of looking to the plant to do your work, you do your work with the support of the plants and guiding spirits. Its intense, its active and it’s transformative to levels beyond those imaginable.
I began with 6 plant/rock vapor baths (imagine individual sweat lodge.) This served to loosen stuff up within. Then, an Aya ceremony to determine the plant I would diet. I then dieted the Machinga tree. The actual diet was for 4 days. But my time in isolation afterward was 3 weeks. I went deep into the darkness, ultimately coming out into the Light ~ into a higher level of consciousness. The final week, a few more Aya ceremonies to bring it all together. Sealing it All with a rose petal bath in the Amazon ~ a perfect ending to a transcendant experience.
Francisco, the founding Shaman, has a powerful lineage of Inca and Shipibo combined with a strong Christian foundation. While I was there, a female Shipibo shaman, Amalia also guided my experience. The Shamans have extensive experience with Aya Centers.
This is a place and an experience for those Consciously on the path of Awakening. Ready to face their fears, resistance and darkness – to more fully access their Light
